It’s with tremendous sadness that we share that Tristan Johnson, a member of Ingenuity Prep’s founding kindergarten class and a 2023 graduate, tragically passed away over the weekend. Tristan’s easy, contagious smile, his deep and unwavering loyalty to his loved ones, and the many friendships he made have left a lasting mark on our community.
Our hearts are with Tristan’s family — including his siblings, Noah (Class of 2025) and Blair — along with his friends, classmates, and all who knew and loved him. Once an IP student, always an IP student. We will miss Tristan deeply and honor the impact his life had on our school community.

Nothing can stop our spirit… not even the rain! From jerseys and sneakers to foam fingers and team chants, our students and staff showed up ready to play, cheer, and celebrate Game Day in true IP fashion. Whether repping their favorite teams or creating their own, the energy across our hallways was undefeated. 💪🏀⚽️
Even as the rain came down, our spirit only grew stronger. Because at Ingenuity Prep, teamwork, community, and pride don’t take a rain check. They shine through no matter the forecast. ☔️💚
